Important Election on January 27

If you are a registered Democrat living in CA Assembly District 75, you have an important vote to cast on January 27! [Check your Assembly District here; check your voter registration status here.]

Every two years the California Democratic Party (CDP) organizes Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs), in which Democratic voters in each Assembly District elect 14 people to represent them as delegates to the CDP's annual convention. Also known as members of the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC), delegates vote on Party endorsements, resolutions, internal leadership elections, and other matters, and many participate in CDP committees and caucuses. Voters will also elect one person from that group of 14 to represent that district as a member of the CDP Executive Board, who is expected to attend additional meetings around the state each year to vote on State Party business.

WE NEED TO MAKE SURE ESCONDIDO AND NORTH COUNTY ARE REPRESENTED! PLEASE VOTE!  Six EDC members are running: Rick Bova, Matt Corrales, Terry Corrales, Wayne Lu, Jeff Marcus, and Georgine Tomasi. There are also other North County candidates; find a list of all delegates running here.

You must vote in person. Email us if you need a ride or want to carpool, and come to our January 12 Meeting to find out more about the candidates and the process. Also more info here.

When: Sunday, January 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Discovery Elementary School 730 Applewilde Drive, San Marcos, CA 92078
Convener: Roger Garcia (951) 216-1391
