Influential firefighters endorsement goes to Everitt

The Escondido firefighters association has endorsed EDC member/officer Jason Everitt for City Council. The firefighters endorsement is perhaps the most influential organization endorsement in city races. The group cited Everitt’s commitment to working families, his knowledge of local government and his passion for public service.
The firefighters have also endorsed incumbent Marie Waldon, who faithfully supports their issues in her council voting. For Mayor, the group endorsed former Councilman Tom D’Agosta.
