Barron endorsed by mobile home association
Richard Barron has received the endorsement of the Coalition of Escondido Mobile/Manufactured Home Voters, a group that represents the 7,000 Escondido residents who live in mobile home communities. Barron, a Democrat and member of EDC, seeks election to the Escondido City Council in November. Also endorsed for Council was Jim Crone, a local businessman.
The group had earlier endorsed Tom D’Agosta for mayor. The group’s endorsements passed over all incumbent candidates, including Marie Waldron for council, and Dick Daniels and Sam Abed for mayor.
