Dear EDC members:

I want to express my sincere appreciation for your support and hard work during these past 16 months. From house parties to phone banks, we successfully reached out to our neighbors from all areas of our community. And as I have said countless times, without your help, none of this would have been possible.

I am honored that 64% of the primary voters selected me to become the Democratic nominee, and I accept this nomination with the determination and resolve to win on November 2.

The real challenge for us lies ahead, and we have the momentum to meet this challenge head on. If we want to change the way Washington works for us, then we need to change who works for us in Washington. I know that together we can make this change a reality.

I look forward to a spirited campaign this fall, and working with you once again to bring real representation who listens to Washington.
