McNamara commentary published in NC Times
EDC President Paul McNamara’s commentary about the Escondido City Council’s failure to show leadership in addressing the immigration issues has been published in the North County Times. Here’s a sample:
This is clearly a failure by the City Council to address an issue that is of concern to its residents. Not discussing it further fuels the fires of each side, resolves nothing and most importantly continues to portray Escondido as a city with problems, thus hurting growth and business development. The City Council lost an opportunity to show leadership in addressing a national issue that has local impact.
