A new Gallup poll reports that the Democratic Party’s favorable rating has dropped to record lows: 41 percent among voters overall and 30 percent among independents. Favorable ratings for Republicans are up to 42 percent overall and 36 percent among independents. (The poll was conducted March 26 to 28, 2010 and has a sampling error of plus or minus four percent.)
