Councilmembers Olga Diaz and Dick Daniels will discuss the current budget situation facing Escondido and what the city might do to restructure its sources of revenue to provide a more stable and predictable income stream.

The meeting is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at the East Valley Community Center, 2245 E. Valley Pkwy.

EDC member Diaz is a downtown businesswoman who was elected to the council in 2008 on her second try. Daniels runs a public relations consulting firm. He is a former president of Escondido Rotary and a former chairman of the EScondido Chamber of Commerce. He was elected to the Council in 2006.
