Update: County drops anti-Labor initiative
From the San Diego County Democratic Party:
The County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday, February 23, 4-1 against putting an initiative on the ballot that would ban agreements that create good paying, middle-class jobs. Thanks to your letters and phone calls, Supervisors Greg Cox, Ron Roberts, Dianne Jacobs, and Pam Slater-Price all agreed that supporting Bill Horn’s motion would be an unnecessary use of $100,000.
By voting 5-0 for an ordinance instead of a ballot measure, our letters and phone calls has assured $100,000 will not be taken away from providing important services to San Diego’s families during an economic crunch.
Your help saved $100,000 at the County. Thank you!
