Hotel hearing delayed
The City Council hearing on the downtown Marriott hotel proposal, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, was cancelled at the last minute. There has been no announcement of a new date or time. We understand the hearing was delayed because the developer failed to meet another deadline.
When the hearing takes place, EDC members are encouraged to attend and speak. Dollie McQuiston will be at the session to help get members on the speakers list, and Margaret Liles has prepared talking points. See Chris Nava’s post for her opinion on this bad idea that just won’t go away.
