Latino Dems Confront Chief Maher

Chief Maher
The effort to reduce or end Escondido traffic stops that Latinos feel target their community continued before the Latino American Democratic Club last week. The meeting, held in Oceanside on Monday, August 17, attracted approximately 55 people. Escondido Police Chief Jim Maher explained his reasons for scheduling checkpoints. Opponents claimed the checkpoints are part of an effort to drive away Latino residents.

I believe what chief maher is doing is brilliant and there is no reason to argue this driving without a license is a danger to others on the road as well as driving under the influence as well as driving without insurance I think we need more and more checkpoints and if you don’t like it either obey the law or leave
