EDC members Chris Nava and Grace Sloan will be honored for their volunteer activism at the County Party’s major annual fundraising and recognition event, the Roosevelt Dinner. Nava and Sloan will share the Sylura Barron volunteer of the Year award for their work managing the North County Unity Campaign Office in Escondido during the 2008 election.  The Roosevelt Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at the Holiday Inn on the Bay in downtown San Diego. EDC will have a table at the event. Tickets are $85 each at the EDC table; $95 each elsewhere ($100 after April 25).
